I am a very active person and really enjoy working out. Sports and the gym allow me to escape from reality. I have decided to use my passion for health and fitness to help others achieve their physical goals. After doing some initial research, I discovered that many teens can be classified as obese. As a person who loves working out and helping others workout, I saw this as a serious problem that needed to be addressed.
I have a lot of experience in the fitness field. Since I was old enough my dad had me working out and training, doing gymnastics and playing soccer. This made sports a big part of my life at a young age. My dad was an amateur bodybuilder and a certified personal trainer. Having a dad that came from an athletic background and that knew a lot about how to train and what to eat has been beneficial to me personally and has given me the knowledge to also help train people.
In my 17 years of working out and playing sports, I have developed a passion for fitness. I am currently captain of the football team, lacrosse captain, and nationally ranked powerlifter. My upbringing has caused me to value health. I also value hard work and discipline. To have a set gym routine and have the control to eat the right stuff and eat takes a lot of mental strength.
As I look around, I see many people do not feel the same way that I do when it comes to fitness. I am doing this project to provide others with knowledge about the many benefits that come with working out. Having a workout routine can help you create a solid daily routine that can help decrease stress. When you have a daily routine it eliminates the stress of not knowing what is going to happen. You always know what you have to do, and when you’re going to do it. Working out regularly also causes the body to release endorphins. Endorphins are a hormone that makes you feel pleasure and happiness. Another benefit of working out is that you will look and feel better. When you look and feel better it makes you more confident.
